Skilled visas

Broadly, there are work visas that allow you work in Australia for a period of time, depending on how long you need to stay.


You will need the relevant skills, qualifications and occupation.


These are the visas that we do and please contact us for a consultation for an assessment.


If you are 45 years and below, have the right qualifications and skills, you may apply independently to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia:


  • Skilled Independent visa (*need to assess against the points test/ 2 streams available)
  • Skilled Regional visa, if you are currently holding an Australian visa subclass 489, 495, 496,475 or 487 visa (* in different scenarios)
  • Global Talent visa (*nominated by an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, eligible NZ citizen, or Australian organisation with a national reputation in your area of talent.)


If you have an Australian employer, regional Australian  employer or an Australian state ( WA, VIC, NSW, SA , NT, QLD), these visas are open to  you:


  • Employer Nomination Scheme Visa
  • Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme visa
  • Skilled Nominated Visa

Temporary skill visas that can allow you to work in Australia on a short term basis up to 5 years and your occupation need to be on the relevant skilled occupation list:


  • Temporary Skill Shortage visa**
  • Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa**
  • Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa**
  • Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional ) visa**
